Kissing You-IggyxAmber

Okay, this is a scene from my Max Ride story I'm writing and its based off the song Kissing You by Miranda Cosgrove. So, here's a little piece of the story.

I looked over the magenta hues and oranges of the sunset and smiled to myself. Never did I think I would be sitting on the top of the Eiffel Tower with a blind bird kid whom I had a giant crush on. I could see Iggy sitting next to me and he was also smiling.
"You know," He began, "I've only been with one girl in my entire life."
"Well, consider yourself lucky," I chuckled, "Cause I've NEVER been with a guy before."
Iggy arched an eyebrow, "Really? You're adorable, sweet, and the exact opposite of Max. What's not to like?"
I smiled a little blushed, thankful that Iggy was blind. "Really? I could say the exact same thing about you. Minus the whole Max part. You wanna see the sunset?"
"Huh? Oh yeah, hold on," Iggy fumbled for my hand and as he took it, he let out a gasp. "So this is Paris..."
"Yeah, it's really cool, isn't it?" I murmured and scooted a little closer to Iggy. He looked at me and I could see his beautiful blue eyes shimmering. I turned away quickly and my blush deepened.
"You are even prettier than I thought you were." Iggy said quietly and I looked at him.
"I think that's funny," I began, inching forward, "The bird falling for the cat. Isn't that like, a crime of nature or something?"
"I personally see no harm in it," Iggy murmured coming closer with every syllable.
"Well then obviously..." I began, but I was quickly cut off by his lips gently pressing against mine and I fell into his embrace. Screw crime of nature. This felt so right.
